Share the Wealth: ServiceNow Releases Four Emergency Response Management Applications
Updated: Feb 1, 2021
ServiceNow released four free emergency response applications to help customers navigate COVID-19 crisis management: Emergency Outreach, Emergency Self Report, Emergency Response Operations, and Emergency Exposure Management. Our team gives an overview and demonstration of each application below.
Emergency Outreach Application
Emergency Outreach allows users to distribute information and confirm employee safety and location through email or a mobile app. This application can be installed and configured to assist in sending out mass communication to employees and receiving feedback from employees. The targeted audience can be filtered by Users, Groups, Locations, and Departments and is highly customizable. Once the email is sent out, acknowledgements of the email or push notification and responses can be viewed in the application.
Emergency Self Report Application
Employee Self Report enables employees to report illnesses and readiness to return as well as initiate workflows to help managers respond. This application gives employees a way to notify their employer of their health status, enables managers and response teams to track that reporting, eliminates the need for gathering email, phone, or other manual data sources, and enables the ServiceNow digital workflow to capture and automatically load that data for analysis and action.
Emergency Response Operations Application
Emergency Response Operations optimizes staff and resources to support emergency response for public agencies and other organizations. In this demonstration, Mike Koken creates an incident and walks through the process. This results in the ability for employers to see which employees are on site and which employee is doing what at any given point in time.
Emergency Exposure Management Application
Emergency Exposure Management identifies and manages exposure risk when an employee is diagnosed with an illness. After an employee reports themself as being possibly infected, employers can switch over to the Emergency Exposure Management tool to see if other employees were possibly impacted. After viewing who has been potentially impacted, employers can use the Emergency Outreach application to notify employees who may have been exposed.
