This ServiceNow Story features Christopher Nadeau, a Senior ServiceNow Developer based out of Sturbridge, MA.
How were you first introduced to ServiceNow? What was your first job using the platform?
I started at ServiceNow’s Waltham, MA office, working in their now-defunct Remote Services department, which was intended to be an intensive learning team to springboard new blood into professional services. In fulfilling this purpose, the team was largely successful.
What other jobs have you had working with ServiceNow?
I moved into the role of Senior Remote Consultant at ServiceNow. Due to a leadership change and a new direction away from professional services within the company, I got out while the gettin' was good and became a ServiceNow Administrator/Architect for Limelight Networks. Two years later, I was enticed by Michael Lombardo and Lloyd Godson to join GlideFast Consulting.
What are your primary ServiceNow skills?
Over the last eight years, I've been exposed to nearly every part of the ServiceNow platform and have had to build 'solutions' to break most of them. That being said, I am not specialized in just one area. Most of the time, it comes down to scripting and really knowing how things work behind the scenes.
What are your plans for the future in your career and in the ServiceNow industry?
I'm going to continue riding the ServiceNow gravy train until it derails and explodes, preferably at GlideFast Consulting for the foreseeable future. As time allows, I will continue to learn and expand my skill set.
