As the Federal Digital Transformation Advisor with GlideFast Consulting you will leverage your proven track record in leadership and building strategic partnerships within the federal government. In this role, you will spearhead the expansion of GlideFast's presence in the federal government sector by leveraging your extensive experience and fostering lasting relationships supporting our sales team when engaging with potential and existing customers. Your strategic vision will be instrumental in driving increased revenue across GlideFast’s professional services, contributing to our organization's growth and success. Collaborating closely with our sales, marketing, and delivery teams, you will play a pivotal role in achieving our business objectives. Your expertise within the federal government sector will be invaluable as we continue to expand our offerings within the ServiceNow platform to meet the unique needs of federal government entities.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
● Provide subject matter expertise during client meetings, offering insights and recommendations that align with the client's needs and industry trends
● Participate in sales calls and meetings, webinars, and presentations to showcase the company's capabilities and industry knowledge
● Collaborate with Sales team, Marketing, and COE’s to strategize and tailor sales pitches, presentations, and proposals specifically for the industry
● Stay updated with the latest advancements, regulations, and best practices within the industry
● Serve as the go-to resource for both internal teams and clients regarding industry-related inquiries
● Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the industry
● Act as a trusted advisor to active and potential customers, offering strategic insights and thought leadership to help them achieve their business goals
● Collaborate with the marketing team to create industry-specific content such as whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and webinars
● Contribute to thought leadership pieces that showcase the company's expertise in solving industry-specific challenges
● Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to identify areas of differentiation and innovation
● Provide feedback to the delivery team based on industry insights, ensuring that the company's offerings remain relevant and competitive
Additional Functions
Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and research to align strategies and initiatives with industry trends
● Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to further build the company's presence and credibility
● Train sales executives on industry trends, terminology, and nuances to enhance their understanding and credibility during client interactions
● Provide ongoing coaching and support to help sales executives excel in industry-specific conversations
Qualifications
● Comprehensive understanding of the Federal Government industry landscape, including trends, challenges, opportunities, and key players
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a/as senior Government employee (military or civilian) with a proven record of success
● Proven track record of successfully participating in ServiceNow implementations for federal organizations, demonstrating expertise in navigating and contributing to the implementation process to achieve streamlined operations
● Strong understanding of government processes and the ability to translate industry knowledge into effective consulting and sales strategies
● Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
● Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies
● Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
● Proficiency in using industry-specific tools, software, and technologies
Soft Skills
Self-motivated, disciplined professional able to function as a true business leader with a record of accomplishment in managing multiple complex tasks
● Uphold excellent time management and organizational skills with an aptitude toward creative problem-solving
● Excellent proficiency with English language: written, reporting, verbal/oral communication skills; must be an effective presenter
● Proven troubleshooting skills
● Continue learning service delivery solutions, technologies, and methodologies
● Maintain professionalism and an uninterrupted work environment during all client meetings and interactions
● Excellent communications skills required – verbally with all levels of customer IT and business management as well as written with technical assessments and project-related reports
Certifications/Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or other related fields (or equivalent work experience)
● Government clearance (either Secret or Top Secret) strongly preferred
