The Director of Cloud Services (DCS) has overall responsibility for cloud service delivery and associated cloud managed services. The DCS will oversee the Cloud Customer Engagement and Cloud Operations Teams and will work with the Cloud Technical Lead to and coordinate the delivery of cloud services. This position will be responsible for establishing processes to provide consistently high levels of customer service in a cost-effective manner and overseeing continual improvement of the technical framework within the cloud construct. The DCS reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Responsibilities
Role Competencies
* Functions as the Pharicode leadership interface with our cloud services customers
* Plans and coordinates with internal and external project teams on the engagement of our cloud projects ensuring completion of projects on schedule and within budget
* Planning and oversight of the company’s cloud services initiatives -leveraging internal and vendor-provided tools and capabilities in the planning, implementation and support of the ServiceNow platform and other cloud hosted services, applications and data.
* Works with the Cloud Technical Lead to research and develop new cloud service offerings
* Monitors the overall performance and availability of services
* Provides direction and coordination for the cloud services team leadership to include assistance with recruitment, training, staff development, performance management, and disciplinary actions
* Develops and oversees the annual cloud services operating budget
* Manages to budget the targets that are established by top tier management
* Establishes and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, adheres to policies, procedures, and protocols, and promotes company values
* Recommends policies and procedures to upper management and assists with implementing approved changes
* Self-starter with a record of accomplishment in managing multiple complex projects.
* Disciplined, self-directed, team motivator, leader and team player.
* Other duties and tasks assigned by the CTO

Qualifications
* B.S. Degree in an IT or Business-related discipline
* A minimum 10 years of proven experience in similar roles as stated above
* Active knowledge and experience working with MS Azure GovCloud IL5 environments
* Active knowledge and experience working with MS Project and ServiceNow ITBM
* Active knowledge and experience working directly with the Government customer as the contractor team leader
