As the Director of Finance with GlideFast Consulting, you will manage the accounting and economic aspects of a company by enforcing a financial strategy aimed toward profitable long-term growth. Additional duties include: overseeing the finance department, conducting financial assessments, generating reports, establishing company budgets and conducting risk assessments on business initiatives.
Responsibilities
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct weekly and monthly financial assessments and generate reports to be submitted to the CFO and Leadership Team
Establish budgets in accordance with the requirements of company departments
Develop annual financial plans and projections for the company
Conduct analysis of financial risks and benefits on business initiatives
Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis
Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel
Perform bi-annual performance reviews and set goals for direct reports
Oversee proper accounting methods, policies and principles
Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
SUPERVISORY:
Up to 3 Finance Department Managers

Qualifications
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 7+ years experience in a related financial management role
Strong knowledge of project-based accounting software
Impeccable mathematics and analytical skills
Able to meet tight deadlines and work evenings as needed
Excellent computer skills
Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
REQUIRED SOFT SKILLS:
An analytical mind with a strategic ability
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to direct and supervise
EDUCATION:
BA/BS Degree education preferred
