GlideFast is seeking a skilled CSS Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of ServiceNow portals. As a CSS Developer, you will be responsible for building CSS according to design mockups created for clients implementing ServiceNow portals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, architects, and technical consultants, to implement CSS styles and layouts that align with GlideFast guidelines and best practices.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with designers, architects, and technical consultants to understand requirements and translate them into CSS for ServiceNow portals. * Develop and implement CSS styles and layouts that enhance the user experience. * Write clean, efficient, and maintainable CSS using best practices. * Customize and extend CSS styles provided by the ServiceNow platform to meet specific design requirements. * Optimize CSS code for performance, ensuring fast loading times and responsiveness across different devices and browsers. * Conduct thorough testing and debugging of CSS code to identify and fix any issues or inconsistencies. * Collaborate with designers, architects, and technical consultants to integrate CSS styles with dynamic content and functionality. * Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in CSS development techniques, tools, and frameworks, and apply them to improve the quality and efficiency of CSS. * Work in an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and team meetings.
Qualifications:
* Strong proficiency in CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) with a solid understanding of its core principles, including box model, positioning, selectors, and responsive design. * Experience in developing CSS for web applications or portals, preferably using the ServiceNow platform. * Proficiency in HTML and familiarity with JavaScript. * Knowledge of CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS is a plus, including knowledge of functions and mixins. * Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and the ability to write CSS code that works consistently across different browsers and devices. * Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual design and UI/UX best practices. * Strong problem-solving and debugging skills to identify and fix CSS-related issues. * Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
