As a Release Train Engineer with GlideFast Consulting, a successful candidate will have a strong agile background (Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, Agile Coach). Uses industry-standard best practices in order to assure delivery of goals and objectives, as well as compliance with all discipline processes and governance channels. Will provide coaching and guidance to matrixed teams, Product Owners and Scrum Masters. Will facilitate and enable end-to-end value delivery. This will be a customer facing role requiring the candidate to demonstrate High EI, strong communication skills, tactfulness and diplomacy.

Responsibilities
As an RTE you will be guiding and supporting an agile release train (ART) that supports a large scale client's digital transformation
You will lead and facilitate program level ceremonies that support the delivery of epics and features
Your core responsibilities will be enabling teams through facilitation of ceremonies as a true servant leader and to ensure that goals, scope, and budget are met by the teams and ART
You will improve ART performance by identifying resolution of program impediments and being a change agent with continuous improvement items
You will also help to establish an environment where the team can be effective, addressing any team dynamics
Work closely with Product Management, Product Owners, Architects, and other cross-functional teams to plan scope, deliverables, required resources, and timing for new initiatives
Manage program/project status reporting process and create senior leadership updates on a regular basis
Support Agile teams to proactively detect and resolve potential delays, impediments, or challenging relations (customers, team members, stakeholders, etc.)
Facilitate the PI planning event(s) like PI and solution roadmaps, including Epics, MVPs, and early to mature releases
Facilitate PI Planning readiness by fostering a Continuous Exploration process that drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs, and through Pre- and Post-PI Planning events
Facilitate periodic synchronization events, including the ART, Scrum of Scrums, and product owner syncs
Mentor and coach scrum masters in leadership and Agile practices & mindsets
Qualifications
* 1+ years delivery/program management
* 1+ years RTE experience
* Scrum Alliance CSM or CSP certification or ACP certification
* SAFe certified or other scaled agile frameworks
Expert knowledge of Agile/SAFe principles and practices, with extensive experience working in an Agile/SAFe environment
Must be skilled and seasoned Agilist - RTE/Solution Train expertise
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to effectively communicate with clients and across the different levels of the organization
Experience in dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams, and ability to coordinate across teams in a large matrix organization environment
Certified Release Train Engineer (RTE) in SAFe
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications
