As the Human Resources Manager (HRM) with GlideFast Consulting, you will coordinate the Human Resources department for GlideFast Consulting India. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible to assure all policies are in compliance in all operating states. The HRM will work closely with company stakeholders, acting as a key member and leader of the HR team, offering a solid level of HR skills and experience in support of key initiatives. It is expected that you will be a polished, experienced professional who is technically proficient in the HR functional areas of documentation, policy interpretation, and general HR services.
Responsibilities
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create, update, and maintain company policies (Space Knowledge Base)- keeping current on new laws or company policy changes
Uphold a consistent process for dispute resolution between employees and/or management
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
Support day-to-day employee relations issues by coaching and counseling employees, as well as being a leader on employee relations matters
Set standards for ethics, values and culture of company
Facilitate employee benefits through use of COE’s open enrollment, teaching and resolution of benefit issues when needed
Assist the VP of HR in the daily administration of other HR services as directed or assigned, including recruitment and selection, promotions, transfers, contract negotiation and administration, affirmative action/EEO compliance, job classification, performance evaluation, and employee relations in accordance with quality management principles and overall objectives of the organization
Develop, prepare, generate and analyze ongoing and ad-hoc special reports pertaining to employee personnel information and data, including issues such as benefits costs, staffing levels/deployment, turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, applicant tracking, affirmative action/EEO, compensation, promotions, etc. Effectively utilize the data processing system to obtain, store and analyze pertinent data and information.
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs (management training)
Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met
Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
Act as the main point of contact for Paylocity being a liaison between the Company internal team and the vendor’s team
Support efforts to accomplish the overall goals and objectives of Human Resources Department
Ensure the maintenance of all personnel records is in legal compliance at all times Luann?
Comply with federal, state and local legal requirements and enforce adherence to them
Prepare and maintain special internal and external reports as requested by the immediate supervisor
Assist with developing, coordinating and recommending changes for the improvement of workflow in the program or section area
Develop methods and procedures for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects
Conduct periodic audits of human resource activities to ensure compliance with laws, policies and procedures
Present training sessions related to the assigned program or section area
Administer benefits programs, including conducting analyses and serving as primary contact with providers (including group health and life), workers' compensation, unemployment and retirement plans
Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs
Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met
Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance reviews, and PTO data
Ensure the maintenance of all personnel records is in legal compliance at all times
Lead and provide compensation analysis for all company job levels
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead, develop, and inspire team members
Plan and perform 90-day, mid-year and Annual performance reviews
Lead Goal Planning discussions and ensure goals and tracked and managed
Ensure team career development plans are reviewed and learning opportunities are explored
Review and approve, when applicable, team member’s PTO requests and expenses
Guide career and skill growth of team and assist with certification guidance
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal standards and reduce risks related to daily management of employees
Proactively look for ways to make processes more efficient

Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience required in functional HR areas
Experience in an HR role in a start-up environment is preferred
Thorough understanding of corporate benefits and compensation offerings is a plus
Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment and benefit laws
Strong working knowledge of standard HR concepts, practices and procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods
Ability to design and implement effective training and development
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

EDUCATION:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development
