Pharicode Database Administrators are directly involved in the execution of tactical and strategic data-related projects, resolution of production issues, and the implementation, support and maintenance of the overall data services infrastructure and services.
Role Competencies
* CompTIA Security+ Cert * MCSA SQL 2016 Database Development * Experience in MySQL and MariaDB with understanding and optimization for Azure based deployment * Experience with Oracle and SQL Server * Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security * Database development and administration experience supporting DoD projects * Perform database server installations, database administration, maintenance, performance monitoring and Database tuning activities, and disaster recovery planning, documentation and testing * Provide off hours support, as needed, to support product enhancements, data uploads and technical issue * Support data migration projects, conversions and product upgrades * Discover automation opportunities to replace manual processes * Experience administering database standards, procedures and documentation. * Comfortable with basic networking concepts * Working knowledge of various scripting languages that facilitate database automation and reporting
